What’s the Story Behind Michelle’s Party Plan-It?

So who is the gal behind Michelle’s Party Plan-It? Well, allow me to share a little bit about myself. 🙂

I’m Michelle Stewart and I have always enjoyed entertaining family and friends but party planning became a true passion after the arrival of my third baby boy.  As a full-time working wife and mother, I found party planning to be the perfect creative outlet. And in the summer of 2011, I opened an Etsy Shop and Michelle’s Party Plan-It was born. I started by creating custom paper party packages with custom stationery and party decor for my shop. A little while later, I started this blog as a portfolio and a place to share the parties I created for my 3 boys.   My blog has evolved into a Party Ideas and Inspiration Blog; where I share all things party related, including recipes and DIY crafts, and home decor.  I also enjoy Party Styling and Crafting for my favorite brands.

When I’m not working or tending to the family, you can find me sewing, crafting, and scrapbooking.  My Grandma “Nana” Lily taught me to sew and she will always be my personal hero. My favorite color is aqua/turquoise and I absolutely LOVE being the only girl in my little family.  I love to laugh and hang out with family and friends.

Where Every Day Is a Reason To Party

I hope my space provides inspiration for others to take a moment and look at all the wonderful things in life that we have to celebrate each and every day. I believe that every day is a gift from God and within each day we are given, we can look around and find a reason to party!
