Epson SureColor F570 Pro Sublimation Printer
If you have been following my sublimation journey, you will know that it started with the Epson SureColor F170 sublimation printer. I love this printer, and I have used it for every sublimation print project I’ve shared with you. However, I found that as my projects grew, my needs grew too. Even though I was able to create larger format projects with some handy hacks, I was limited by the size limits of the F170. It was time to expand my sublimation limits and upgrade to the Epson SureColor F570 that I had longed dreamed about. Then my friends over at MakerFlo Crafts made my dream come true! I am so excited to share the beginning of the next part of my sublimation journey with you so let’s get right into it!
I created a quick video with highlights, check it out below:
Design and Size
Let’s get real: the Epson SureColor F570 is not small. At 38 inches wide, it definitely needs its own dedicated spot. But the good news? Its clean, professional design means it’ll look great in your workspace, whether that’s a studio or a corner of your home office. If sublimation is your thing, the trade-off in space is totally worth it.

Key Features
Here’s why this printer is such a gem:
- Wide-Format Printing: The 24-inch print width is perfect for larger projects like banners, oversized t-shirts, or even full-wrap tumbler designs.
- High Resolution: The PrecisionCore® technology delivers incredible detail with up to 2400 x 1200 dpi resolution. So, those intricate logos and vibrant patterns? They’ll look amazing.
- Versatility: This printer works with all kinds of sublimation media—think fabric for t-shirts, ceramic for mugs, and even metal for plaques or signs. You can whip up coasters, custom plaques, and more.
- Built-In Cutter: The integrated cutter trims your prints straight out of the machine. This is a lifesaver for batch projects.
- Epson Edge Print Pro Software: With features like job nesting, pattern repeats, and spot color libraries, this software keeps everything running smoothly. Even if you’re new to sublimation, it’s super easy to use.
Sublimation-Compatible Items
One of the best things about the SureColor F570 is how well it handles batch printing and larger projects. Thanks to the Edge Print Pro software’s nesting feature, you can maximize materials and minimize waste. Here’s a snapshot of what you can create:
- Big Projects: Banners, oversized t-shirts, and wide-format signs—anything that takes full advantage of the 24-inch print width.
- Batch Printing: Need to churn out bookmarks, decals, or coasters? The nesting feature makes bulk production a breeze.
- Custom Drinkware: Mugs, tumblers, and water bottles for weddings, corporate gifts, or big events.
- Promotional Products: Mousepads, lanyards, and tote bags for trade shows or giveaways.
- Home Decor: Pillows, wall art, table runners—perfect for sprucing up a space or offering personalized gifts.
- Event Materials: Photo booth props, banners, or party favors—create in bulk, fast.
- Sports Gear: Jerseys, towels, and drawstring bags for teams or events.
- Seasonal Items: Metal photo panels, puzzles, ornaments—great for holiday sales or unique gift ideas.
Printer Stand Option
If you’re short on desk space, don’t worry. You can grab a separate stand (sold by various retailers, I ordered mine at Heat Press Nation) to give the printer a dedicated home. Plus, it adds a bit of mobility and storage—a win-win!
Why It’s Great for Small Businesses
The SureColor F570 was made with small businesses in mind. Here’s why:
- Easy to Use: Setup is straightforward, and the software is super user-friendly. The touchscreen interface makes adjustments a snap.
- Saves Money: With refillable ink tanks, you’re not constantly buying replacements. It’s perfect for anyone making bulk items like mugs or tote bags. And the ink is affordable.
- Scales with You: Whether you’re just starting out or handling large orders, this printer keeps up with your growth.

Things to Think About
Before you invest, keep these in mind:
- Space: Make sure you have enough room for the printer and media. I recommend the printer stand if you have a smaller workspace, you can move it around as needed.
- Budget: Factor in the costs and if you can swing the pro package, I highly recommend it!
- Focus: This is a sublimation printer, so it’s not for everyday office tasks.
- Maintenance: Regular cleaning is key to keeping it running smoothly.
The Epson SureColor F570 Pro Sublimation Printer is a fantastic choice for anyone serious about sublimation. With its versatility, efficiency, and ease of use, it’s an investment that pays off. Whether you’re a small business owner or a dedicated crafter, the SureColor F570 is ready to help you take your projects to the next level.
Happy Printing!
