Hi Friend! It’s peak summer season which means it’s beach time! I’m sharing how to sublimate a towel for your beach day so let’s get started!

How To Sublimate a Towel
Are you spending a lot of time outside this summer? Maybe going to the beach, hiking, or even just hanging out by the pool? Chances are you’re getting sweaty or wet, so why not sublimate a towel for your summer excursions? These little hand and face towels are designed with sublimation in mind. One side is 100% polyester and the other is 100% cotton for your hands and face. They come in two sizes 8×8 which I’m using in this project as well as 12×12. So let’s get into it!
What you will need:
Heat Press – I’m using my small PYD Life Heat Press, it’s the perfect size for small projects and has the power of a traditional large heat press.

Let’s go over the steps more closely…
Step 1:
Download the design and resize it as necessary to fit your towel. Print on your sublimation printer on sublimation paper.
Step 2:
Press the towel to remove wrinkles and moisture.
Step 3:
Set the Heat Press to 360 degrees and the timer to 60 seconds
Step 4:
Remove lint and dust with the lint roller.
Step 5:
Center the image on the towel and secure it with heat-resistant tape.
Step 6:
Place butcher paper on the press, then the towel with print and cover with butcher paper. Pull down the lever and press.
Step 7:
When the press beeps, lift the lever and remove the project from the press. Remove the paper to reveal your design!
