Heart Tic Tac Toe Pillow
I love making pillows for all the seasons and holidays. I can’t think of an easier way to add a little touch of love for Valentine’s Day than with some HTV and a blank pillow cover. When it comes to DIY, my go to place for pillow covers is IKEA. They have a great selection of plain pillows that make a great canvas for my projects. Let’s go over the materials list…
What you will need:
Cricut Machine (any Explore or Maker series, I recommend Explore 3 or Maker 3)
White Pillow Cover and Pillow Insert
This design sized for the IKEA pillows in Cricut Design Space or download the svg HERE.
Heat Press of your choice, I used my HTVRONT Autopress

Let’s go over the steps to make a Heart Tic Tac Toe Pillow
Step 1
Open the design in Cricut Design Space. Resize it for your pillow cover as needed. I set mine to 11.25 inches square.
Step 2
Send the image to your machine and select your Iron On Vinyl from the materials list (or turn the dial to the vinyl setting on the Explore Air series) DON’T FORGET TO MIRROR!
Step 3
Following the instructions on the HTV, set the temperature and time on your heat press.
Step 4
Place the cut designs on the pillow and press. You may need to tape down the design with heat-resistant tape if the pillow cover is larger than your press plate.
Step 5
Once cooled, remove the carrier sheet. Insert the pillow insert and zip it up!
