How to Make Valentine’s Day Party Plates with Cricut
What you will need:
Cricut Maker 3 or Cricut Explore 3 (you can use any Cricut machine that has the pen adapter)
Cardstock Paper
Cricut compatible 1.0 Black Marker
Xyron Creative Station with Adhesive Cartridge
My Design in Cricut Design Space
Clear Plastic Plates (I like Chinet, personally)
I created a quick video to show you how easy this project is…
Let’s walk through the steps…
Step 1:
Open my design in Cricut Design Space and resize to fit the center of your plates as needed.
Step 2:
Load your mat with cardstock and insert the marker in the pen adapter in your Cricut Machine.
Step 3:
Send the design to the machine and follow the prompts.
Step 4:
When the cut is finished, place the hears face down in the Creative Station (you’ll need the adhesive cartridge) and turn the knob. Remove the plastic film and backing.
Step 5:
Turn the plates upside down and apply the heart to the center of the plate, press down firmly.
And that’s it! Super simple and you can repeat to make as many as you need for your party! Wouldn’t these look great for a Galentine’s party? Or maybe a classroom party, you can even personalize them in Cricut Design Space as needed, be creative!
