How to Make Corner Bookmarks
I’ve been making a lot of bookmarks lately and I’m happy to share my latest version of easy to make bookmarks. I came upon this idea while I was thinking of what I can make with thermal laminate sheets. So I went into my studio and grabbed a few supplies that I already had on hand and came up with these cute corner bookmarks. Let’s go over what you will need to make them yourself…
Supplies Needed
Fine Glitter I used Martha Stewart brand, but this one is high rated
Chip Bag Sealer – I got mine on Temu but you can pretty much find them anywhere online.
I created a quick video showing you the process, check it out below…
Let’s go over the steps a little slower…
Step 1
Open a thermal laminate pouch and sprinkle fine glitter on one side. Try to sprinkle it as evenly as possible. You want to use fine glitter, anything chunkier won’t adhere as well and will spill out when you cut the pouch.
Step 2
Close the pouch and pass it through your laminator on the hot setting. I like to pass it through twice just to make sure I get a good seal.
Step 3
Cut the laminate sheet into squares. I cut mine into 2.5 inch x2.5 inch squares.
Step 4
Place two squares on top of each other, and using the chip bag sealer, seal two sides as shown in the video. You can also seal all four sides to make two bookmarks at once.
Step 5
Using the pinking shears trim off the ends and cut diagonally to make a triangle.
And that’s it! It really doesn’t get easier than this! Make as many as you want in all the colors!
