How to Make Clear Bookmarks
I love to make bookmarks for myself and as gifts. I’ve shared several with you in the past, I’ll link them at the end of the post. But I have yet to share my favorite so far, clear bookmarks! Let’s go over what you will need to make them…
Supply List
Inkjet Printer
I created a quick video to show you the steps, check it out below:
Let’s go over the steps for those who like it a bit slower…
Step 1:
Start by downloading your favorite bookmark design. Or you can create your own! I love these from Creative Fabrica. Load clear sticker paper in your regular inkjet printer following the manufacturers instructions and print.
Step 2:
Open the thermal laminate sheet. Fold back the backing of the clear sticker paper and place it in pouch as shown in my video. As you pull back the backing, use a felt covered ruler or squeegee rub to remove any bubbles as you pull. Watch the video to see how I do this.
Step 3:
Close the pouch and pass it through your laminator on the hot setting. I like to pass it through twice to remove any wrinkles.
Step 4:
Cut the bookmarks with a paper cutter and if you like, round the edges with a paper punch. My punch was included with my laminator.
And that’s it! Wasn’t that a cinch? I hope you give this project a try and if you do, please tag me in social @michellespartyplanit, I’d love to see your creation!
As promised, here are some more bookmark ideas for you to try!
