Easter (Pascua) is days away and my family and I are so excited! Good Friday and Easter are two of the most important holidays in my family. We are a family of faith and we celebrate the reason for the season with our traditional ceremonies and Sunday Service. We also celebrate Easter with bunnies and egg hunts for the kids. This is something that my parents and abuelos did for me and it’s a tradition that we pass on to our children.
Easter
If you’ve been following me for a while, you will know that we have an Easter Brunch and Egg Hunt every year with family, so I was excited to see all the wonderful Spring themed items at KOHL’S! Not only was I able to find new items for my table, I picked up my youngest son’s Sunday Service Outfit and Easter Basket!
Tableware:
When I saw the Celebrate Together Floral Napkins, I knew I wanted to incorporate corals, yellows and blues for my table. I started with Food Network Spring Garden round place-mats in Coral that complimented my wicker chargers perfectly. I found some matching napkin rings and created cute napkin bows to place on the plates. I also was in need of a new set of dinnerware, so I picked up a few Food Network Fontilla Beaded plates as well as a matching serving platter. I had a hard time deciding between the yellow and aqua, so I opted on the beautiful white that had hints of beige to match my wicker pieces. I also picked up the bunny table runner and since we were going to have an outdoor brunch, I grabbed a few spring themed throw pillows for our outdoor furniture.
Easter Decor:
The adorable Easter Bunny Decorations were hard to pass up. I bought the salt shakers, nested bowls, tealights, treat bowl, tabletop sign and a lit bunny. My son fell in love with the white Bunny basket and I grabbed coordinating Easter eggs for the table as well as for our Egg Hunt.
After I whipped up my family’s favorite cupcakes in coordinating cupcake wrappers and painted a vase for my fresh flowers that I picked up from DTLA, our tablescape was ready!
Spring colors are my favorite for my boys, I love the CHAPS shirt I picked up for my youngest. It was the perfect color for his olive skin tone.
The Easter Eggs were so fun! I loved the little sayings and the colors matched perfectly.
And that’s it, our Easter table was complete with a trip to KOHL’S! I loved all the items I picked up but I think the Bunny Basket and matching eggs were my favorite items. Which item is your favorite? I’d love to hear from you!
Feliz Semana Santa and Happy Easter!
