I’m so excited to be sharing a fun idea for this month’s Laura Kelly Design Team project! If you missed last month’s announcement, allow me to get you up to speed. I have been hand selected to be part of Laura Kelly’s Inaugural Design Team! WOO HOO! This month the team is sharing ideas on how to thank teachers and educators using Laura’s licensed stamps and notepads from Expressionery.com!

Teachers do so much more than teach our children and what better way to thank them for their efforts than with a Campfire S’mores Kit using your child’s artwork?
My inspiration for this fun little project was my son’s campfire handprint finger painting. Using finger paints, simply have your child make three handprints on cardstock in red, yellow and orange paint. Add “logs” with two simple brush strokes and you have a campfire!
Next, with a scanner, scan your child’s masterpiece and print it at about 75% scale. Cut around the artwork and apply it to a galvanized bucket with glue.
Next, fill the galvanized bucket with basket filler, marshmallows, chocolates and graham crackers.
