I’m excited to kick off the week with a quick tutorial for some fun Circus Party Decor featuring the latest Sizzix dies from Where Women Cook. If you know me, you know I love easy details and these dies are so versatile, they can go with any theme! My favorite being the garland and party hat dies.
Let’s get Started!
Circus Party Decor
What you will need:
- Sizzix Big Shot
- Tiny Party Hat Thinlits
- Garland Shapes Thinlits
- Where Women Cook ADORNit Paper
- Felt Circles or Pom-Poms
- Hot Glue Gun
- Scissors
- Twine
- Popcorn Boxes & Party Favors
For both sets of Thinlits, you will want to create a Sizzix Sandwich using the multipurpose platform on tab2 and two cutting pads. Simply, place a cutting pad on the platform, paper, Thinlits and a second cutting pad. Then pass it through the machine.
Top your party favors with cute party hats! Simply assemble the party hat and secure with hot glue. Attach a felt circle or pom-pom on top with glue. They remind me of little clowns!
Embellish store-bought popcorn boxes with a festive garland. Following the same sandwich method described above, die cut several pennants using the Garland Shapes Thinlits. Adhere a piece of twine and a few pennants to the front of the box. And that’s it, simple and cute little details!
Add a pom-pom cake topper, hang a tissue paper garland and throw some confetti! Now you’re ready for a mini circus party for any occasion!
