I have recently come to the realization that I can no longer rely on my memory for my daily task planning. With my family, full-time job and party styling/blogging projects, I have reached maximum memory capacity. So when I received this month’s Laura Kelly Design Team’s project supplies, I couldn’t have been more excited! Talk about perfect timing!
As a Laura Kelly Design Team Member, I received product included in this post. All opinions are my own.
Laura Kelly has teamed up with ADORNit to create some awesome new papers, planner stickers and pages! I also received a planner kit, so naturally I wanted to make my very own Laura Kelly Planner!
I collected all my goodies, plus some Decou-page, scissors, paint brush, duct tape and washi tape.
Going back to my 80’s school days, I covered the planner in Laura Kelly’s signature polka dot scrapbook paper and secured it in the inside of the planner with duct tape. The paper is thick and high quality, perfect for a planner cover.
Next, I glued on a bright red panel also made from the new scrapbook paper and added gold washi tape to finish the edges
Next, I cut and colored my favorite sentiment from Laura’s paper line and my son colored it with colored pencils. I trimmed it with washi tape as well.
I added another saying on the inside spine and left plenty of space to add stickers or whatever later down the road.
And that’s it! My very own unique Laura Kelly day planner! I can’t wait to start using my planner. Now, if I could only make sure to write down all my tasks instead of relying on my aging memory! lol
You can find Laura’s new paper and sticker line on her website, www.meandmyinklings.com. You’re gonna love everything! The quality is amazing!
