Fall is my favorite time of year, especially since it’s Football season. Who says you have to be at the game to get the full experience? Family watch parties on the weekend with our favorite game day recipes are my favorite for building family memories. I’m excited to share how easily it is for you to create a family watch party with two of my favorites, Coca-Cola® and Walmart, so let’s get started!
How to Plan the Ultimate Fall Football Party
Planning a football party has never been easier. Walmart has everything you need from the 24 packs of Coca-Cola® (perfect for those big watch parties) to all the ingredients you need to make a my Cheesy Chicken Enchilada Dip with all the fixings. You can even find fun Football themed party decor.
But first, let’s talk about the convenience of the Walmart online grocery pick up that is delivered right to your car! You don’t even need to go inside to get your order which is different than their in-store pick up service. It really doesn’t get easier than that to plan a football watch party, it saves time and you can place your order online or on an app. Standard pick-up is always free, too!
Party Decor
A tablescape doesn’t have to be fancy to be festive. Set up a neutral football themed display that you can use time and time again no matter what team is playing! A large balloon garland makes an affordable backdrop and is a cinch to create.
You can get a variety of balloons and themed party decorations at Walmart while you stock up on 24 packs of Coca-Cola®.

Don’t forget the beverage bucket filled with ice! No one can resist an ice cold Coca-Cola®!
Party Food
Keep the menu simple with your favorite finger foods, veggies and dips. All of which you can also get at Walmart.
Set out your favorite garnish to accompany the Cheesy Chicken Enchilada Dip (recipe below).
Pop your favorite popcorn and display it in individual cups for your guests. Everyone needs something to munch on while watching the game!
Of course, you don’t want to forget the ladies! Real women watch football, afterall!
Easy Cheesy Chicken Enchilada Dip
I have hosted LOTS of Football parties and the one dish that is always a touchdown with the family is my Easy Cheesy Chicken Enchilada Dip. This dip is not only delicious, it’s versatile. I have served it as a stand alone dip, a burrito filler, and a tostada or nacho topper. It is always requested at potlucks and parties and best of all pairs perfectly with Coca-Cola®!
Ingredients:
3 boneless skinless chicken breasts (cooked and shredded)
3.5 cups Mild Enchilada Sauce
2.5 cups shredded Colby Jack Cheese
1 whole onion, diced
2 cups canned corn
2 cups canned refried beans
Start by covering the bottom of the crock pot with refried beans.
Next add half of the shredded chicken.
Add diced onion and corn.
Add half the cheese and half the enchilada sauce.
Lightly stir.
Top with the remaining sauce and cheese.
Cook on high for 40 minutes until cheese is melted
Serve on top of your favorite Mexican finger foods. Doesn’t it look delish?
And it pairs perfectly with Coca-Cola®!
