DIY Beanie Snowman
Wanna make a snowman? This craft is super easy to make with basic crafting materials and a beanie! Yep, you read that right, this adorable snowman is made with a beanie that you can get at any dollar store. And it’s a NO SEW project! Step aside little sock snowmen, this one is bigger and better!
What you will need:
- White Beanie
- Craft Felt
- Yarn
- SureBonder Fabric Glue Sticks
- Glue Gun
- Scissors
- Buttons
- Pom Pom Maker
- 2 cups of Rice
- Poly-fiber Fill
- Hair Tie or Rubberband
Here’s a quick little video showing you all the steps…
Now let’s walk through the steps…
Step 1: Pour 2 cups of rice into the beanie, then add poly-fiber fill to desired plushness. Close the top and secure it with a hair tie or rubber band
Step 2:Tie yarn around the center. Secure tightly.
Step 3: Using fabric glue in a glue gun, add buttons for the eyes, mouth, and a couple on the tummy. You can use either a button or a piece of felt for the “carrot” nose.
Step 4: Adorn the snowman with a scarf, cut a length of felt, and wrap it around the center. Add fringe and attach with fabric glue.
Step 5: Cut a length of felt for the ear muff headband. Fold and glue as shown and adhere to the top of the head, hiding the hair tie. Make pom poms with yarn and pom-pom maker. (you can also buy ready-made pom poms) Glue them to the sides of the head.
Isn’t it adorable? I just love how cuddly this little snowman is! I hope you enjoy this fun project!
