Somebody pinch me! I am on a very short list of finalists nominated to be recognized at the Tecla Awards among amazing Latino influencers from all over the nation! I couldn’t be more humbled and excited to have been nominated for such an honor. Over 1,000 influencers were nominated in 26 categories. And to be a finalist in the Best Latino/Latino Pinner on Pinterest category is simply jaw dropping news!
The Tecla Award winners will be announced live on Thursday April, 7th during the Hispanicize Conference in Miami, Florida.
About the TECLA AWARDS:
“THE TECLA AWARDS HONOR THE CREATORS, INDIVIDUALS, BRANDS AND ORGANIZATIONS WHO ARE PRODUCING EXCELLENT U.S. HISPANIC AND/OR MULTICULTURAL CONTENT IN ENGLISH AND/OR SPANISH ON YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK, TWITTER, VINE, INSTAGRAM PERISCOPE, SNAPCHAT, BLOGGING AND THE REST OF THE SOCIAL WEB.
Named after the Spanish-language word for an individual key on a keyboard, the second annual Tecla Awards will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2016 in Miami, Florida during Hispanicize 2016 Week (www.HispanicizeEvent.com).
The awards are a co-production of the Hispanicize event and the DiMe Media creators network. The Tecla Awards is being conducted in alliance with iBlog Magazine, the lead blog industry trade media partner, and the Hispanic PR Blog.
The awards feature 26 categories focused on creators and brands as well as the agencies and media companies fostering Latino content creation.
There are two branches of the Tecla Awards: the individual competition and the brands & organizations competition. The Tecla Awards Official Media Partner Telemundo Network will present their own content creator industry award as well!
The awards for brands & organizations honor the innovative and creative work professionals are executing in the Hispanic and/or multicultural social media space.”
