DIY Valentine’s Mug Set | Cricut Mug Press
This project is super easy to make, it combines sublimation, Cricut Design Space and the Cricut Mug Press. No cutting machine is required. However, if you don’t have a sublimation printer (learn all about sublimation in my Beginner’s Guide) you can cut the image on vinyl and apply it to any mug set without a heat press as shown in this Mrs. and Mr. Mug set. If you want to try your hand at sublimation but don’t want the expense of a printer just yet, you can cut the image on Infusible Ink Transfer Paper and then press it with the Cricut Heat Press as shown in this Halloween Mug Idea.
Since this project focuses on Sublimation I will be sharing how to create it with sublimation.
What you will need:
Sublimation Printer and Sublimation Paper
My Design in Cricut Design Space
Lint Roller
I created a quick video showing you this easy process….
Now that you’ve seen how easy it is, let’s walk through the step!
Step 1:
Open my design linked above in Cricut Design Space. Send it to your sublimation printer. You will not need to cut the image.
Step 2:
With a lint roller, remove all the dust and debris from the mugs.
Step 3:
Turn on your Cricut Mug Press. Trim around each design and center them on each mug. Secure it with heat-resistant tape.
Step 4:
Wrap each mug with butcher paper and secure it with heat-resistant tape.
Step 5:
Place a mug in the mug press and close it. Remove once the mug press beeps and place it on an oven mitt or heat pad to cool. Repeat with the remaining mug.
Step 6:
Once cooled, remove the butcher paper and sublimation print to reveal the sweet designs!
And that’s it! A sweet Valentine’s Mug Set that is great for gift-giving!

I love love LAHVE this project!! Where did you get the pink marble mugs? The link above only took me to the gray, and they don’t show up when I search Amazon either.
Thank you! Pink appears to be sold out.
