I love quick and easy DIY projects that help keep my family organized. I’m excited to share a simple DIY Valet Tray, perfect for keeping my husband’s items neat and organized, all in one place. Not only is this valet tray functional, it looks great on our foyer table in the entryway!

Let’s get started!
DIY Valet Tray with DecoArt
What you will need:
- Medium unfinished serving tray
- DecoArt Americana Satin Enamels ( Rich Chestnut & Seaside Blue)
- Painter’s Tape
- Paint Brush
Start by painting two coats of Seaside Blue on the base of the tray.
Once dry, apply two strips of painter’s tape to make stripes.
Paint the entire tray in Rich Chestnut. Apply two coats.
Remove the painter’s tape and let dry.
Once dry, it’s ready for all Hubby’s stuff! The best part is that the handle in the tray provides the perfect hole for a cell phone charging station!
And the tray protects my new foyer table from scratches and nicks!
What do you think about this fun entryway organization idea? I’d love to hear from you!
Happy Painting!

Such a practical gift to make for dad or grandpa!
This is a great idea! I use baskets to keep things neat & organized.
My husband could use this for his clutter. I like how it looks
That is such a wonderful idea. It is so easy and looks so cute.
What a beautiful way to hold my husband’s phone, wallet, etc. He has a small tray in our master bedroom, but seems like everything ends up on the kitchen island. I love the stripes!
Great idea!
This is a such an easy and useful diy project
It’s always fun to do stuff like this especially if the whole family will use it. I think it’s great! The colors are perfect and it’s really easy to do!
I NEED a tray! Right now- we have a part of our kitchen countertop dedicated to charging EVERYTHING, but that’s also where my husband puts his wallet and keys.. and phone parts etc (he’s a techie guy). It drives me nuts- but this may be a great solution!
That is so cute and looks so easy to make! Thank you for the idea
Such a cool idea! Easy way to organize stuff
Aything that scratches from nicks is good. That side would protect from water too if you’re putting devices on there in the kitchen.
Looks a great idea and easy. I would tell this to my hubby
That is such a great idea. I have got to do something like this. I’m in the process of buying a home, so this would be perfect for my new place.
This will be great for my husband and son to put their jewelry in. I love the personal design, thanks for tutorial 🙂
What a great project. We really could use one of these trays and I love how we can customize it.

Such a great idea to store these items. I know we need something like this, my husband tends to leave his stuff in 3 different places.
This seems like a cool DIY project. Also seems like there could e several uses for it.
I do always love doing some quick DIY works & love to involve my kids as well so they learn something out of it. This is such a beautiful tray that could help have some of my accessories organized anytime!
I need one of these. I usually just randomly place my keys, phone, etc through out the house and usually can’t find them. This would be helpful.
I would love to try this myself. It makes my things organized as well thank you for this article.
I like this. Very helpful.
What I need most right now is the side table and some hooks!
