Star Wars day is near and to celebrate, I’ve created three fun DIY Star Wars Shirts using the new Cricut Star Wars Collection! If you know me, you know that Star Wars is a big thing in my family. So you can imagine my excitement when Cricut launched the first series of Star Wars images in Cricut Design Space!
Disclosure: As a member of the Cricut Blogger Program, I received the vinyl used in this post, free of charge. As always, all opinions are my own. So without further adieu, let’s get started!
DIY Star Wars Shirts with Cricut
I made three shirts, one for each of my sons to reflect their personalities and I couldn’t be more pleased with how they turned out! They loved them so much they asked for more. Don’t be surprised when I share more designs soon, especially with the new Han Solo moving coming out soon! (I sure wish these were available when I planned my son’s Star Wars Party!)
For all three of these shirts, you will need….
- Your favorite Cricut Machine with access to Cricut Design Space (I used my Cricut Explore Air 2 and the Cricut Maker).
- Cricut Iron On Vinyl – I used White Vinyl, Silver Glitter Vinyl and Black Glitter Vinyl.
- EasyPress or Iron
- EasyPress Mat or Ironing Board (Check out my Post about this HERE)
- Blank Shirts in your favorite colors
- My Star Wars designs in Cricut Design Space (linked below) plus the Star Wars Collection that is sold separately (get the set for $19.99 in Cricut Design Space, or buy just the images you want a la carte).
My middle son loves classic Star Wars, so naturally I decided to Slice images of Chewbacca and C3PO into the Star Wars Logo. Get the design HERE.
For my little man, he wanted something with both Luke and Vader. So I placed Vader in the background and added Luke in the front. Almost as if Vader’s shadow is looming over him. Then to tie it all together, added Luke’s quote. I love how the Silver Glitter Vinyl makes the image pop off the shirt. You can find this design HERE.
Last but certainly not least, I designed this punny Yoda shirt to reflect his quirky sense of humor. It was perfect! To add a bit of a galactic feel, I cut the image on Black Glitter Vinyl and it added just the right amount of sparkle to his gray shirt. You can find this design HERE.
And that’s it! I hope you try making your own Star Wars shirts for May Fourth or any other day! If you do, please let me know. I’d love to here from you!

Cheers!
