Easy DIY Genie Lamp Chargers
Adding a little detail to your party table has never been easier. These fun DIY Genie Lamp Chargers are super simple to make and you can mix and match the color of vinyl to coordinate with your party!
What you will need to DIY Genie Lamp Chargers
-
- Cricut Explore Air 2™ or Cricut Maker
- Cutting Mat (I used the light grip mat, but the standard mat works fine too)
- Cricut Vinyl
- Cricut Transfer Tape
- Cricut Tools
- XL Scraper
- Gold Chargers
- Scissors
- You will also need to purchase this file in Cricut Design Space.
If you are new to Cricut, be sure to check out my video for cutting vinyl with your Cricut. It’s great for beginner crafters!
To start, add the Cricut Vinyl to the cutting mat and insert into the mat into your Cricut machine. Be sure to set the dial to Vinyl or if you have a Maker, select Vinyl in the drop down menu.
Cut the file and weed the vinyl by removing the excess vinyl from the image.
Apply a piece of transfer tape over the die cut and burnish with the scraper. To apply the image to the charge, simply remove the backing and place the die cut and transfer paper in the center of the charger. Burnish with the scraper and remove the transfer paper to reveal the design!
Wasn’t that easy? And this little detail adds so much to the party table. Top with a clear plate so guests can see the beautiful finished design.
If you are planning an Arabian Night or Jasmine Princess inspired party soon, I hope you give this quick project a try! Also be sure to check out my accompanying tutorial for the DIY Paper Flower Tealights, DIY Genie Lamp and the birthday girl’s favorite cocktail, Twisted Pink Lemonade!
Happy Crafting!
