Easy Last Minute Gift Wrap Idea – Cricut Joy Project
It’s the busiest time of the year but that doesn’t mean you can’t add a little bit of personalized crafting to your last-minute gifts! This idea is super easy to make with any small bag that can fit on the Cricut Joy Mat. I’m using a cute coffee bag from Oriental Trading that I had on hand from past projects. You can also do this project with the bigger Cricut machines, but when I need to do a small craft super fast, the Cricut Joy is my go-to machine!
What you will need:
- Cricut Joy
- Cricut Joy Pen
- Small Gift Bag (here is something similar to what I used)
- Cricut Smart Label
- This Design in Cricut Design Space, customize with your name.
- Coffee Pods
- Gift Card
- Floral pic
- Glue Gun
I created a quick little video to show you how simple this is…check it out below!

Now, let’s go through the steps…
Step 1:
Load the gift bag on the Cricut Joy mat and secure with masking tape.
Step 2:
Send the project to your machine in Cricut Design Space and follow the prompts.
Step 3:
Load the Cricut Joy Pen (tip to reduce smudging, make sure you let the ink dry a minute or so before removing)
Step 4:
Next, load the Cricut Smart Label in the Joy. Follow the prompts to change pen to the blade.
Step 5:
Apply labels to the top of your pods and fill the bag with pods and an optional gift card.
Step 6:
Finish with a floral pic to add a pop of festive color!
And that’s it! What do you think? Wasn’t that a cinch? You can use this technique to personalize a small gift bag all year long, just change your images in Cricut Design Space. Super simple!
