DIY Easter Game with Cricut Venture
Do you have the Cricut Venture? It’s the perfect machine to use for making large format party games like this DIY Easter Game. It’s my spin on the old fashioned game, pin the tail on the donkey and it’s adorable!
While I created this project to make with my Cricut Venture, you can easily scale it down to create it on any other Cricut Machine with the Draw and Cut feature. Have fun and give it a try!
What you will need to create this project:
Poster Board (I buy mine in bulk but you can find it also a the Dollar Tree)
My design in Cricut Design Space.
I created a quick video showing you how I created the game with my Cricut Venture, check it out below:
Let’s go over the steps…
Step 1:
Open my design in Cricut Design Space. Resize as needed for your machine of choice.
Step 2:
Select the proper materials from the material list. I used Heavy Cardstock with more pressure for my project.
Step 3:
Follow the prompts, insert the marker and correct blade.
Step 4:
Apply the material to your mat and load the mat into the Venture. The prompts within Cricut Design Space will show you the exact steps.
Step 5:
The Venture will first draw then cut the design. Remove the mat and the carefully from the poster board from the mat.
Step 6:
Apply the sticker cardstock to the mat. You can also use the smart sticker cardstock without a mat if you choose.
Step 7:
The Venture will first draw then cut the design. Remove the mat and the carefully from the sticker cardstock from the mat.
And that’s it! It really doesn’t get any easier! You can make as many tails as you need, just copy the tails in Cricut Design Space and renumber them to make more.
I hope you try this project out, and if you do I’d love to see it on social, tag me @michellespartyplanit.
