DIY Shake Your Bunny Tail Spring Dollar Tree Sign
This fun Dollar Tree sign is so easy to make with your favorite Cricut Machine. I’m using my Cricut Joy, I love it for simple projects like this one. If you want to know more about the Cricut Joy, check out my 3 Easy Crafts with Cricut Joy.
I prefer Heat Transfer Vinyl over Craft Vinyl on wood projects, but you can use either one for this craft. No need to go out and buy one if you have the other already on hand!
What you will need to make this Dollar Tree Sign:
Cutting Mat (check Dollar Tree for a comparable one)
Dollar Tree White or Plain Wood Bunny Sign
Heat Transfer Vinyl or Craft Vinyl (check Dollar Tree for this too!)
Cricut Mini Press (If you use Heat Transfer Vinyl)
Weeding Tool (check Dollar Tree)
Ribbon (check Dollar Tree)
Hot Glue Gun and Glue (check Dollar Tree)

I created a quick video to show you how easy this craft is to make, so check it out below!
Ok, let’s go through the steps for the Dollar Tree Sign a bit slower:
Step 1:
Open the design in Cricut Design Space. I already have it sized for this bunny, but if you need to resize it, go for it! Send it to your machine and don’t forget to mirror if you are cutting HTV.
Step 2:
Weed the vinyl and center it on the bunny. Apply with the mini press set on high. Press with even pressure just for a minute or so. When the vinyl looks like it’s secure, peel back the carrier sheet.
Step 3:
Grab your pom-pom maker and yarm and make a medium size pom-pom. You can also use a store-bought one if you have one on hand.
Step 4:
Carefully remove one side of the hanging twine and add wood beads. Put it back as shown in the video.
Step 5:
Add a ribbon bow to each side of the bead hanger.
Step 6:
Glue on the tail and you’re done!
Isn’t it adorable? I like the black-and-white simplicity of this project, but feel free to add as much color as you want with colored yarn, ribbon, beads and vinyl!

Too cute! Made something similar last year by using shredded white paper and glued to bunny for texture. MESSY but loved the look.
