Have you seen the newest Disney Princess? Princess Elena of Avalor, Disney’s first Latina princess, is making her premiere on the Disney Channel on July 22nd and I can’t wait!
Princess Elena of Avalor Party Ideas
Here’s a little bit of background on the beloved 16-year-old Latina princess. Elena of Avalor was trapped in an amulet for 41 years by an evil sorceress. She is set free and is getting ready to rule her magical kingdom of Avalor with help from her Grand Council. Since Elena has an eye for adventure, you can guess there will be lots of fun in store for her!
Are you excited to learn more about Elena? How about setting up a Watch Party for family and friends? Watch parties don’t have to be elaborate, simply set up a table with your favorite movie watching snacks and treats with coordinating decor and you’re all set for the premiere!
Elena of Avalor Party Decorations and Treats:
Every watch party needs decorations and treats! Elena’s wardrobe is a great source of inspiration for decor and snacks. Since her dress is ruby red with pink hues, you can decorate your party table with deep pink and gold linens to match.
Since small details always make a big impact, I often like to create a centerpiece for the party table. Nothing is cuter than a mini cake with bright flowers on top for a focal point!
Decorations can be simple, just a couple of bright colored vases and flowers bring lots of life to the party table.
Add detail and interest with mini orange flowers with gem centers to hot pink popcorn boxes. Don’t they look like the flowers in Elena’s hair?
Of course, every princess needs gold goblets, she does live in a castle after all! Set out a few goblets for guests to enjoy their favorite beverage.
If you’re anything like me, you’ll want to set out a few sweet treats to offset the salty popcorn. Simple gold cupcake liners and doilies are the perfect accent to freshly baked or store bought cupcakes.
You can add small gems to cupcakes to match Elena’s scepter!

Rose tablecloth is gorgeous and I found a red one online and a fuchsia. It’s hard to tell in the pictures which true color is yours, but I’m guessing is not the true red I found 🙁 please let me know the color of the table cloth and also what’s kind of color and material you used to the sparkly goldish one! Thank you for any help you can give me and congratulations for such a cute party!
