Packaging and Shipping Gifts with MUNBYN
I recently upgraded my MUNBYN Printer (read more about my new printer HERE) and I have been not only using it for my Etsy shop but for packaging and shipping gifts to loved ones! With the MUNBYN app I am able to print care labels, labels for notes and also shipping labels in just a few steps. Let’s walk through my process…
First you’ll want to open the MUNBYN app from your phone or iPad. Connect your wireless printer. I’m using my new MUNBYN Real Writer 401 Air Print printer, it’s ideal for creating personalized/custom label prints with its 300dpi resolution, ensuring clear and crisp sticker labels. Perfect for scenarios such as crafting personalized labels for gifts and packages. Air Print has driverless printing, you no longer need to download the driver for a computer. Additionally, it supports USB printing for situations without WiFi. It is super easy to connect, just turn it on and then go to your settings on your phone/iPad and make sure you have the bluetooth turned on and once you see the printer, click connect. The printer will then confirm that you are connected to WIFI. If you don’t see your printer, make sure you have your network connected.
Once you are connected, start your design right in the App. I’m starting with a cup care label for a glass that I’m sending to a friend. So I selected the 4×6 pink shipping label. (You can prints labels of different sizes, such as 2″x2″, 2.25″x1.25″, 4″x6″, 3″x3″.)
You can design your own label within the app, but for this label I wanted to use a design from my iPad.
When gifting tumblers or cups, it’s always a good idea to include some kind of care instructions. So I found a set of cup care instructions on Creative Fabrica and uploaded the image to my iPad.
To add your own image to the shipping label, select “Image” and select the image from the photo gallery.
I centered the image on the shipping label and then changed the QTY to 4 and then clicked PRINT.
I loaded up the printer with the pink shipping labels and my labels were printed fast! (150mm/s, 1 label per second) I love how the printer requires no ink or toner, saves cost in the long run.
I find that the 4×6 shipping labels are the most diverse of all the MUNBYN labels. I use them for so much more than just shipping labels. I especially love that they are available more than just the standard white. MUNBYN has them in pink and blue so you can create a coordinated packaging. The pink is my personal favorite and I use it the most.

The possibilities are really endless. There are so many ways to use thermal shipping labels, especially if you have a small business. Search Creative Fabrica and Etsy for designs or create your own in just a few steps within the MUNBYN app.
Now back to my project. I wanted to create some made with love stickers for the packaging. So I went back into the MUNBYN App and selected the flower sticker. These are really pretty in person, the gradient colors and the white floral design really pop with the text.
Here I wanted to use a ready made design from within the App instead of uploading my own design. I selected this cute Made with Love image. There are several to choose from and many are categorized for easier searchability. I resized and centered it on the screen and then clicked print.
I loaded the flower sticker labels on the roll holder and my stickers were printed in seconds!
Now it’s time to start wrapping! I use the Made with Love stickers to wrap the paper around the glass. It gives it a nice little touch.
Once I put the glass in the box I added the cup care label on top of the box.
Now it’s time to weigh the shipping box so I can print my shipping label. I weighed the box with my MUNBYN scale that matches my printer beautifully. I really like this scale, it is easy to use and compact. Plus it matches my craft studio perfectly!
I added the shipping label and my gift is all ready to ship!
I created a quick video to show you how the printer works and my process for packaging and shipping gifts, check it out here…
