Father’s Day Gift Card Holder
It’s almost June which means Father’s Day will be here real soon. But there is still plenty of time to whip up a few Gift Card holders for all the Fathers in your life. Perfect for brothers, Uncles and Grandpas! Let’s go over what supplies you will need:
Materials Needed
Cricut Machine of your choice (I’m using my Cricut Joy Xtra which happens to be on sale right now!)
Solid Cardstock
Pattern Cardstock
Gift Card
My Design in Cricut Design Space
I created a quick video to show you how easy it is to create, check it out below…
Told you it was easy!
Let’s go over the steps…
Step 1:
Open my project in Cricut Design Space. It is already sized for a standard gift card size, so no resizing needed.
Step 2:
Load pattern cardstock on your Cricut Mat, the front of the shirt will be the first part you will cut.
Step 3:
Select Heavy Cardstock as you material and send the project to your Cricut.
Step 4:
Once cut, remove the paper from the mat carefully like shown in the video to reduce curling of the paper.
Step 5:
Repeat step 2 through 4 with solid cardstock for the background shirt.
Step 6:
Apply adhesive to the back of the pattern shirt and center it on the solid shirt.
Step 7:
Insert the Gift Card in the slot and you’re all done!
What do you think? I think it’s adorable and you can customize it with patterned paper to reflect the recipient’s personality!
