It’s back to school season and if you’re anything like me, you will rely heavily on a daily dose of coffee or tea to get back in the swing of things! It’s no secret that I am a big time coffee and tea drinker; I often talk about my favorite tea Gold Peak ®, here on the blog. So when I saw the Gold Peak Lattes and Coffee Drinks in new and exciting flavors, I knew I had to try them!
My youngest starts school in a couple of weeks so I thought it would be great to share my new favorite tea lattes and coffee drinks with his new teacher for our “Welcome Back Night”. I know if I were spending the day with fifteen second graders, I’d need a survival kit for sure! Plus it’s so convenient to have these on hand instead of having to stop at the coffee shop every morning.
I’m excited to share how you can create your own Survival Kit for yourself or your child’s favorite teacher with just a few fun stationery items and Gold Peak Tea Lattes and Coffee! You can find the following flavors at Walmart in the beverage aisle.
- Gold Peak Chai Tea Latte
- Gold Peak Vanilla Chai Tea Latte
- Gold Peak Salted Caramel Coffee Drink
- Gold Peak Almond Toffee Coffee Drink
I absolutely loved each flavor, it’s hard for me to pick a favorite! I love how the Tea Lattes are made with real sugar and real tea and the coffee drinks are made of 100% Arabica beans, real cream and real sugar.
DIY Back To School Survival Kit
When picking items to include in the Survival Kit, I wanted to pick some fun teacher themed items along with a fun DIY mug. I added some vinyl to a plain white mug to create the “Coffee, Teach, Repeat” mug. I also wanted to add in a little apple shaped kitchen timer which is perfect for teacher’s break time! And of course a small chalkboard and chalk marker is a must have for any school themed gift basket!
What you will need:
- Gold Peak Tea Lattes and Coffee Drinks
- Wooden Crate
- Black Paint and Paint Brush
- Basket Filler
- Small Chalkboard and Chalk Marker
- Personalized Mug
- Apple Note Pad and Pen
- Apple Shaped Timer
Start by applying black paint to the wooden crate with a foam brush. You’ll want to lightly brush the paint on to give it an old schoolhouse rustic look. Let dry.
Once the paint is dry, fill the crate with basket filler or paper crinkle and arrange the Gold Peak Tea Lattes and Coffee Drinks in the crate.
Use the small chalkboard as a support by placing it behind them. Next, add your apple themed stationery items.
Place one Gold Peak Coffee Drink in your personalized mug to save space for the other goodies.
