Easy Halloween Bat Decor with Cricut
Have you seen all the cute pastel Halloween decor in the stores? I love it but why buy it when I can make it with items I already have on hand? I saw some cute pastel bats at Michaels and thought I could make as many as I want for a fraction of the cost. This is a great project for any Cricut user and can be used with any Cricut Explore or Maker Machine with the Scoring Stylus. Let’s get into all the materials you will need to make this fun craft…
What you will need:
Scoring Stylus
Heavy Cardstock
Adhesive Dots
My project in Cricut Design Space
I created a quick tutorial to share how easy it is to make these bats, check it out below:
Let’s walk through the steps…
Step 1:
Start by opening my project in Cricut Design Space. Resize if needed.
Step 2:
Adjust the quantity to as many as you want. I was able to fit 12 bats on one 12×12 paper. Load heavy cardstock on your mat and load the scoring stylus in your Cricut machine. Select heavy cardstock as your material and follow the prompts in Cricut Design Space. Cut.
Step 3:
Once done, remove the bats from the mat and fold them at the scoring lines.
Step 4:
Add adhesive dots on the back and decorate your space!
I told you it was super easy! And look how cute they look. Best of all you can make as many as you want in any colors to match your Halloween decor!
