Are you ready for Valentine’s Day? Today I’m sharing how to make this Nautical Valentine Treat Box using the latest Life Made Simple Sizzix dies by Rachel Bright. I just love the Nautical theme, remember my son’s Sailing Away with Mickey Party? Sure wish I had these dies back then!
Let’s get started!
Nautical Treat Box
To start you will need the following Sizzix Supplies:
Other supplies needed:
Cardstock
Twine
Glue
Using the Magnetic Platform and Treat Bag thinlit, create a sandwich. A sandwich consists of the magnetic platform, cutting pad, cardstock, Treat Bag thinlit and a second cutting pad. Next, pass the sandwich through the Big Shot. You may have to pass it through a second time, depending on the thickness of your cardstock.
Repeat the sandwich process using the Anchor and Steering Wheel thinlits. Next assemble the Treat Bag according to the instructions found here, and glue. Add a bit of twine and adhere both the anchor and steering wheel to the box as shown below.
Finally, fill your treat bag with your favorite candy for your favorite Valentine!
Happy Crafting!
