DIY Skull Tiki Torch
Living in Southern California, it’s natural for us to want to celebrate Halloween outdoors. The weather here is usually warm in October which is perfect for a Skull Island Halloween Party! I whipped these fun Skull Tiki Torches as part of the centerpiece for the party table. They coordinated perfectly with the creepy island decor.
What you will need:
- Small Plastic Skulls
- Tabletop Tiki Torches
- Paint
- Twine
- Scissors
- Utility Knife
- Paint Brush
- Paper Towel
- Tropical Leaf Lei
Start by cutting a large hole at the top of the skull with a utility knife.
Cut a hole at the bottom of the skull large enough for the torch to fit.
Slide the skull onto the torch.
Secure it with twine.
Brush on some black paint.
Rub the paint off the skull to give it an aged look.
Rub paint on to the bamboo base of the torch to age it as well.
Wrap a Tropical Leaf Lei around the base of the torch.
Now add them to your Skull Island table! Make a few to create an awesome centerpiece.
