I’m so excited to share the details from the World Market beach party! I was not only lucky enough to be invited to attend the event this past weekend; but as a World Market Brand Ambassador I was asked to design a centerpiece for the food table!
Party Prep
Since the event was going to be in Santa Monica, my wonderful husband and I took the day off from work on Friday and made it a “date day” so I could style the centerpiece. I was able to get a sneak peek of the venue the day before during setup. To say the venue was breathtaking would be an understatement! The Spanish style beach house was amazing! And all the World Market furniture matched the house and pool perfectly, it was so beautiful!
I spent a little time getting the World Market items all set up on the food table. My favorite detail was this white octopus!
Heading back home on a Friday night was not the best idea we ever had, but the hubby and I made the best of it and waited for the traffic to subside and stopped to have some amazing Mexican food!
World Market Celebrate Outdoors Beach Party
When my BFF and fellow blogger, Blanca (of Creativities Galore) and I arrived at the beach house, everything looked amazing!
The weather was perfect in Santa Monica and the house was gorgeous.
I loved how all the patterns in the Seaside Collection coordinated perfectly.
The ambiance was set with great music and a live performance by Heffron Drive. Plus drinks and a large spread of delicious finger foods were served during the entire event.
Blanca and I had the best seats in the house, front and center while Heffron Drive performed a few songs!

I loved the DIY station where we all made our own Terrariums!
I don’t have a green thumb, so I hope I don’t kill my little plant!
My personal favorite moment, I had the opportunity to chat briefly with the lovely Lesley Nicol (Mrs. Patmore of Downton Abbey). I’m a huge fan and as expected, she is gracious and delightful!
I had an amazing time, meeting new people and fellow brand ambassadors. The World Market team did an awesome job, I’m so happy to have been a small part of it all!
