How to Make a St. Patrick’s Day Dog Bandana
Before we get into the tutorial, let me preface it with an apology for the poor photos. My muppet can’t stay still to take a decent picture, haha! Anyway, this project is super easy and great for beginners. All you need is a 100% polyester napkin! I actually bought a set so I can make my Oliver a bandana for every holiday season (see his Valentine’s Day bandana). You can also use an old napkin if you have one! Let’s get into the tutorial for the St. Patrick’s Day dog bandana…
What you will need:
100% polyester fabric napkin (or any scrap piece of 100% polyester fabric)
A Design from this Bundle (printed from your sublimation printer on sublimation paper) Learn more about Creative Fabrica here.
Heat Press (I used my HTV Ront Auto Press)
Butcher Paper
Heat Resistant Tape
Lint Roller
I created a quick video to share with you, so check it out below…
What do you think about this St. Patrick’s Day dog bandana? Doesn’t that look easy? Let’s go over the steps…
Step 1:
Download and print the design on your sublimation printer.
Step 2:
Press the napkin to remove wrinkles and moisture.
Step 3:
Set the Easy Press to 390-400 degrees and the timer to 60 seconds.
Step 4:
Place butcher paper on the heat press mat and then lay out the napkin. Remove lint and dust with the lint roller.
Step 5:
Place the image on the napkin and secure it with heat-resistant tape.
Step 6:
Cover with butcher paper and press.
Step 7:
Remove the butcher paper and print to reveal your design.
Literally takes less than 5 minutes from start to finish to create this project! I hope you give it a try. And if you do, please tag me on social media @michellespartyplanit, I’d love to see your furry pal modeling their new digs!
